# Moderation report

How much content was reported, how much we removed and what was decided. The numbers come straight from the portal's database and are recalculated on every publication of this site, not once a year from memory. State of play for 2026.

*Moderation in numbers*

## How to read these numbers

**Where they come from.** Every moderation decision is recorded in the database together with its reason, and this page counts those rows on every build of the site. Nobody types the numbers in by hand, so they cannot be polished without changing what actually happened.

**Zero means zero.** The portal is young and some counters are at zero because nothing of that kind happened. We do not hide that behind “no data”: an empty counter is information just like a full one.

**What software does and what a person does.** The first filter is automatic: word lists, random character strings, posting pace, malicious links and consistency with the age label. Content that fails it is never published. Decisions to remove something already visible, and to restrict an account, are made by a person.

**Appeals.** Any decision can be appealed by e-mail; we answer within two working days. Appeals arrive by e-mail today, so we keep their counter separately and it stays at zero until the first one arrives.

**Why the numbers are uneven.** A game rejected at review is most often a package that fails the technical conditions: no start file, someone else's ads inside, or a script loaded from a foreign server. That is not a punishment but a refusal to publish something that would not work for a player anyway. A post removed from the community is a different matter: there the decision concerns text written by a person, so it always carries a recorded reason and a route of appeal.

**What we will do when the numbers grow.** With more traffic we will add a breakdown by reason for removal (spam, profanity, someone else's rights, content inconsistent with the age label) and the time from report to decision. Today such a breakdown would show ones and twos, so it would be a chart without content. We will expand this page when there is something to show, not to make it look serious.

**What is not here.** No data about people: not who reported, not who was reported, not the content of removed posts. A report is meant to show the scale and direction of the work, not to expose anyone.
