## What two suits change

The building rule stays the same: a card goes on a card one rank higher, whatever its suit. The difference comes when you move. You can only lift several cards together when they share a suit, and removing a run from the table takes a full king-to-ace sequence in one suit too. With one suit this problem does not exist. Here every card placed on the other suit creates a seam you will have to untangle later.

## How to play without jamming the table

When you have a choice, always build on the same suit, even if another move uncovers more. Mix suits only when that wins you a face-down card or an empty column. An empty column is the most valuable space on the table: it lets you split a mixed run and rebuild it. Do not fill it with the first card you see. Remember too that you cannot deal from the stock while a column stands empty, so plan what goes there before you tap. There are five deals.

## Score and the daily deal

A two-suit score counts one and a half times, so on the leaderboard this version pays more than one suit for the same play. You start with 500 points, every move, deal and undo takes one away, and every finished run adds a hundred. The daily deal also uses two suits and is the same for all players, so a few games here prepare you to compare yourself on equal terms. By default the game only deals layouts that can be won, so a loss comes down to decisions, not bad luck.

## Common mistakes with two suits

The most common mistake is building a long two-suit run just because it looks tidy on screen. That run then stands still and blocks the cards underneath. The second is dealing from the stock too early: every new card covers a column you were sorting, so make all the sensible moves first. The third is forgetting about undo. It costs just one point and lets you see what a hidden card really is before you commit.
