For game developers
Move a game you have already published
Your game runs on itch.io, GitHub Pages or your own server. You do not repackage it: you paste the address, we fetch the files, and after a check the game sits here with its own address. Wherever it lives today, it stays.

Why move a game that already has a home
Because this is not a move, it is a second home. We ask for no exclusivity, take no rights and tell you to delete nothing — your page on the service you use today keeps working exactly as it does now. What you gain is a second address where someone can find you, and a second source of players you do not have to bring yourself.
Said plainly
There is a money reason too. A free browser game on a service built around paid titles earns nothing, because earning there means selling. Here ads sit next to the game and the share is yours. Until the ad network approves us there is nothing to pay out from, and we say so plainly — but a game moved today starts counting plays today, not on the day the ads start.
How it works, step by step
- 01
Create a developer account
An e-mail, a password and an age bracket. Nothing else — no contract, no fee and no call with an account manager.
- 02
Paste the address of the running game
The same one the game starts under today. You do not hunt for files on your disk or rebuild a package from last year.
- 03
Add a short marker to the game's page
You get a short string and paste it into your game's description where it lives. We check it is there while fetching.
- 04
We fetch the game with its files
The server downloads the page and everything it loads, then builds a package from it. When the game sits in a frame — as it does on itch.io — we step inside and take the real game files.
- 05
Fill in the details and send it for review
Name, description, categories, cover. A person reviews the game, and once accepted it gets its own address and a place in the catalogue.
Where we can fetch a game from
Game services
itch.io, GameJolt, Newgrounds — including when the game hides in a frame on a completely different server than the page you see.
Pages next to a repository
GitHub Pages, GitLab Pages, Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages — any address where the game simply starts.
Your own server
Your domain or a folder on your hosting. If the game runs in a browser at an address you can send to someone, it can be moved.
Only from that address
We take the files under the address you gave and nothing beyond it. We do not reach into other people's servers, and whatever cannot be fetched, we name the missing file.
Why we ask for a marker
The sentence “this is my game” is the word of whoever typed it and nothing more. The proof is simpler than it looks: whoever controls the game's page can add something to it. So you get a short marker, paste it into the game's description where it lives, and we check it is really there while fetching. Someone without access to that page has no way to put it there.
This is exactly how Google confirms a website is yours, and for the same reason: it cannot be faked without access to the thing itself. The marker is derived from your account, so there is nothing to lose and nothing to steal, and once the check is done you can remove it. When it is over we hold a copy of your game on our disk — and we answer for that copy, which is why we ask about rights before fetching anything, not at publication time.
What we cannot move
A game that needs your server
If the gameplay talks to your own backend — accounts, multiplayer, a score database — it will stop working after the move, because we fetch only the page's files. We provide our own scores and saves, but they have to be wired in.
A paid game
Here you earn from the ads next to the game, not from a price. We do not run sales, so a game meant to cost money has no place here.
Someone else's game
The ownership marker exists to close that road. Submitting someone else's game ends with the account removed, not with a conversation.
Unlicensed assets
Someone else's art, music or font without the right to use it is your responsibility — check it before you press fetch.
What you get after the move
Your own address
The game runs on its own subdomain, isolated from the rest of the portal, and has a catalogue page visible to search engines from day one.
A 70% share
Your part of the ad revenue attributed to your games. Publishing costs nothing and there is no entry fee.
Day-by-day statistics
How many plays, from where, on what. Without pasting someone else's counter and without your own server.
Leaderboards and cloud saves
Ready to wire in with one library. You do not have to run anything of your own for them.
Ratings and reviews
You see who left a rating, and reviews land straight in your studio inbox.
A gameplay clip
Recorded in the browser with one click, landing on a separate vertical-scrolling screen.
Common questions
Do I have to remove the game from itch.io?
No. We ask for no exclusivity and do not check where else your game lives. It stays where it is, and here it gains a second home.
Do I lose rights to the game?
No. We do not buy the game and take no rights to it. You agree only to us making it available here, and you can withdraw that.
I have a ZIP, do I have to paste an address?
No, you upload the package as usual. The address is a shortcut for people who no longer have the package or do not want to rebuild it.
Will a Unity or Godot game work?
Yes, if its browser build starts at a single address. To us it is an ordinary page with files and we treat it as one.
How many games can I move?
Thirty per hour — that is a barrier against machines, not against you. Beyond that the limit waits and tells you how many minutes are left.
How long does it take?
The fetch itself takes seconds. Adding the marker to your page and filling in the description takes longer. A person reviews the game before it goes in.
What if something cannot be fetched?
We name the missing file and let you supply it separately. We do not leave you with a broken game and a “something went wrong” message.
Paste an address and see how long it really takes
The account takes a minute, the move takes about as long as reading this page. You lose nothing, because we take nothing.
