On this shelf the level layout matters, not the number of buttons. Games start from a link with no install, and progress is saved on the device or, in games with the klyo SDK, on the server, so you pick it up on another phone.
On a phone platformers are controlled by tapping the left or right half of the screen, on a computer with the arrow keys and space. Levels are laid out by hand, so every fall teaches you the route. Progress returns after closing the tab, and in games with the klyo SDK on another device too. New platformers from developers land on this shelf right after publication.
If you love the platformers of your childhood, start with a title that has short rounds and checkpoints at the lanterns: you learn the jumps without replaying the whole route. Harder levels open on their own once you clear the earlier ones.
