About GUMLINGS: Tower Conquest

Every tower on the island fills with Gumlings by itself, the number on its shield shows how many stand inside, and your job is to pick the right target at the right moment until the whole island wears your colour.

How to play GUMLINGS: Tower Conquest

A round starts with one or two towers of your own, a few grey towers nobody owns yet and the enemy in red on the far side of the island. Tap a grey or red tower and an army marches out of your nearest towers along the roads. When it reaches the door, the soldiers jump in one by one and the garrison counts down, and the tower changes colour on the very soldier that tips it. If you do not have enough soldiers yet, the tower says so and nobody leaves, so you never throw an army away by accident. Prefer full control? Drag from one of your towers to any other and choose 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent at the bottom of the screen, or tap your tower and then the target. A round usually takes one to three minutes.

Tips for winning more islands

Take the cheap grey towers first: every tower you hold grows new soldiers, so an early second tower pays back quickly. Watch the red armies on the roads and send help to a tower before they arrive. From level three the enemy sits in a fortress with a big garrison, so let several towers fill up and attack it together. Armies that meet on a road fight each other, which you can use to stop an attack halfway.

Upgrades, worlds and the daily map

Every win pays gems, and you spend them right on the menu or on the results screen: a bigger first garrison, faster recruits, a stronger army and more gems per win. Upgrades never run out, so there is always a next goal, and each level costs a little more than the one before. Every ten levels the island moves to a new world with its own light, trees and sea, and every fifth level ends with a boss fortress. A daily map that is the same for every player, a free chest, a daily gift and daily challenges give you a reason to come back.

Play with a friend

GUMLINGS: Tower Conquest also has an online duel: one island, two players, the same garrisons on both sides and no upgrades, so only your moves decide. Pick a quick match or send a friend an invite link.

It is made for players who like short strategy rounds that are easy to start: one tap to attack, clear numbers on every tower and nothing to dig through in menus. If you enjoy taking territory and watching armies clash, this game is for you.

What makes GUMLINGS: Tower Conquest different

Most tower games make you drag every army by hand and squint at tiny numbers. Here one tap sends exactly what is needed, every count sits on a shield on its own tower so nothing covers anything, and the island fills the whole screen on a phone and on a wide monitor. Upgrades are bought with one tap right before the next round, so you spend your time playing, not searching through menus.

Free tower strategy in your browser

GUMLINGS: Tower Conquest is free and plays in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, with nothing to install and no account to make. Levels, gems and upgrades are saved by themselves, so you can start on a phone and carry on at a computer. The game speaks ten languages and picks yours on its own. It suits a quick round of strategy in a break as much as a long evening of planning: one tap is enough to start, and the fortress levels reward a real plan. It is part of the GUMLINGS series; the other game is GUMLINGS: Crowd Runner.
