About Mahjong Connect
Your connecting line travels horizontally or vertically, turns no more than twice, and cannot pass through another tile. It can travel around the outside of the board. Each successful match removes two tiles and opens space for your next connection. Clear every pair to finish the board.
A short introduction walks you through the first match. Select a picture, choose its partner, and watch the path appear. Tap or click your selected tile again whenever you want to cancel. If a connection is blocked, the game explains why. Hints reveal both a playable pair and the complete route, helping you understand connections that travel around obstacles.
Choose Relax for a round at your own pace without a countdown. Journey contains 30 boards with changing layouts and increasing difficulty. Garden, Courtyard, and Islands use different open spaces to create new routes. The daily board gives players the same arrangement, refreshed at 00:00 UTC. Replay it whenever you want to improve your own result.
On a computer, tools sit beside a large playing area. On a phone, two taps are enough to connect a pair. Distinct plants, animals, and fruit remain easy to identify, while clear selection states show exactly which tile you chose. Pick a forest, lagoon, dusk, or ivory setting and adjust sound and appearance without starting your current board again.
If no legal connections remain, a free shuffle provides fresh paths. Finish a board, review your score, and move on to another challenge. Mahjong Connect plays in your browser, with saved progress so you can keep discovering its layouts across several sessions.
