How to play Ludo Royal

    On a computer: Space rolls the die. Keys 1-4 pick an available pawn. You can also click the die and the highlighted pawn with the mouse. Escape opens the pause. Menu buttons change settings, show the rules or resume a saved local game.

    On a phone: Tap the die to roll, then tap a highlighted pawn to move. The preview shows the target square. On-screen buttons open the rules, a hint, sound and pause. In a local game, pass the device to the next player. Online rooms use the Klyo buttons.

About Ludo Royal

A polished board, distinct pawn colors, movement previews and gentle sound effects make each turn easy to follow on a phone, tablet or computer.

Play solo against the computer, share one device with 2 to 4 players, or use a Klyo online room for a two-player match. Solo play offers Easy, Normal and Hard opponents. Quick matches use two pawns per player for a shorter session. Classic matches use four, giving you more pieces to develop and more choices between safety, progress and captures.

Every player begins with one pawn already on the starting square. Roll a six to bring another pawn out of the yard and earn another roll. A third consecutive six ends the turn without reversing earlier moves. Eight starred squares are safe, including the starting squares. On an unprotected square, landing on opposing pawns sends all of them back to their yards. Captures do not grant bonus rolls, and groups of pawns do not create blockades. An exact roll is required to finish.

The Daily Challenge puts four pawns against Hard AI with a date-based seed. A new attempt that day starts from the same die sequence. Solo scores, personal statistics and achievements give you goals beyond a single win. Local solo and shared-device matches can be saved and resumed on the same device. Quick games may take around 5 to 12 minutes and Classic around 15 to 30; actual duration depends on the rolls and decisions.
