About this shelf: Board games online
Which board games can you play on klyo?
Online board games here are table classics you play free in your browser, with no download and no account. The board, the pieces and the dice are ready from the first click, on phone, tablet and computer.
This shelf has chess with eight computer levels, ludo in the Ludo Royal edition, short and long nardy (backgammon), battleship, reversi, dominoes in four variants and tic-tac-toe. It also has creators' games played on a board, such as the pirate game Korsarze on a random hex map.
Most of them play three ways: against the computer, two of you on one device, or with a friend online, each on your own screen.
Board games online: Ludo Royal, Reversi, Dominoes, Tic Tac Toe, Backgammon, Korsarze, Chess, Sea Battle, Mahjong Sanctuary, Checkers, Neon Coil: Family Arena.
Online chess against the computer or a friend
Chess has eight computer levels, a coach that warns you before a blunder, undo and a review after the game. Play a friend through a link or a code, or sit together at one board. Castling, en passant and promotion follow the rules, and selecting a piece shows the squares it can move to.
Ludo online: Ludo Royal
Ludo Royal is ludo with a die and four colours of pieces. Play the computer on three levels, 2 to 4 people on one device, or two of you in an online room. A quick game gives everyone two pieces, a classic one four. A six brings a piece out of the base and gives another roll, and eight star squares keep you safe from capture.
Backgammon, battleship, reversi and dominoes
Nardy comes in two variants: short nardy, the classic backgammon, and long nardy with no hitting. In battleship you fire at a fleet of ten ships on a 10 by 10 grid. In reversi you trap your rival's discs on an 8 by 8 board and flip them to your colour. Dominoes has four variants: draw, fives, block and Mexican Train for 2 to 8 players, and online you play in a room with a code.
Board games for two and for the whole family
For two players, chess, battleship, backgammon and reversi work best. In a bigger group, play ludo with up to four people on one device, or dominoes, where Mexican Train seats up to eight. For a quick break, tic-tac-toe or a single battleship round is enough.
