Play Yukon Solitaire free online, instantly in your browser and with nothing to download, on a phone, tablet or computer. Yukon looks like classic Klondike, but it has no stock and no draws: you see everything from the first move, so planning wins, not luck. Russian Solitaire, the harder version of Yukon, is in the game too.

Yukon Solitaire rules

The cards lie in seven columns. The first column has one face-up card, and each next column has one more face-down card with five face-up cards on top. Build down on the table in alternating colours: a red 7 on a black 8, a black 6 on a red 7. You can take any face-up card from a column, even from the middle, and move it with everything on top of it, even when those cards are not in order. Only a king goes into an empty column. When you move the last face-up card away, the face-down card under it turns over. You win when all four suits are built on the foundations from ace to king.

Russian Solitaire

Russian Solitaire has the same deal and the same moves as Yukon, but you build down in the same suit: 7♠ on 8♠, 9♥ on 10♥. It is much harder, so it scores one and a half times more points. Many Russian deals cannot be won at all, so the game gives you only deals a solver has already won.

How to play Yukon: strategy

Uncover the face-down cards in the long columns on the right first, because most of them lie there. Look for cards buried deep under others: in Yukon you can move a whole stack to reach the card beneath it. Do not rush to empty a column until you have a king that will use it well. Play aces and twos to the foundations right away. When you get stuck, the hint shows the best move, and undo lets you try another way.

Daily deal, points and leaderboard

Every day has one daily deal, the same for every player, and the game counts how many days in a row you have finished it. You score points for cards on the foundations and for cards you turn over, and a fast win adds a time bonus. Your score goes on the klyo leaderboard.

Play on phone and computer

Tap a card and it goes to the best place by itself, or drag it with your finger or mouse. Long columns fit on a phone screen, and the cards are big and easy to read. In your first game the game plays a few moves by itself and says what it does, so within seconds you know how to play Yukon Solitaire.
